Consideration of a Resolution of the Salt Lake County Council Revoking and Repealing Countywide Policies 1010, 1043, and 1044

Requested Agenda Item Description: Consistent with the Council’s legislative intent and revisions to Countywide Policy 2, legal counsel has reviewed Countywide Policy Nos. 1010, 1043, and 1044, and has determined that these policies addressing energy savings at County facilities, parking at the County Government Center, and rental space at the County Government Center are out-of-date or are otherwise obsolete. County Administrative Services and the Executive Coordinating Committee have also reviewed these policies and concluded that their substantive provisions are outdated and are better addressed by other practices and procedures. If approved by the Council, this resolution would repeal the above-noted policies.
