Requested Agenda Item Description: 1. Developing AI System to Improve Models/Forecasts - $77,000 The proposed solution will use artificial intelligence (AI) to assist the Assessor Office to verify parcel data, sort residential lots, create building marks, crop imagery, and label data.

2. Prevent Type 2 Diabetes in Salt Lake County - $50,000 Prevent T2 lifestyle change program, part of the National Diabetes Prevention Program, is proven to help people with prediabetes make the lifestyle changes they need to reduce their risk of developing type 2 diabetes. This year-long program consists of 26 lessons, taught by a trained lifestyle coach, that enable participants to take charge of their health and well-being.

3. Actionable Lead Prevention Program - $50,000 Lead is a toxic metal that can cause severe issues in children, such as ADHD, aggressive behavior, lower IQ, and health problems. Lead poisoning is preventable if children are not exposed to lead-containing products. Immigrant families in Salt Lake County are at risk from items like pressure cookers, spices, and eye makeup (surma, kajal, kohl) from their home countries. Local risks include lead paint chips, antique items, jewelry, and contaminated soil. The project aim to prevent lead poisoning for all Salt Lake County children by providing safer alternatives and educating families about common household sources of lead.
