Review of Request for Public Assistance and Guidance on Potential Developer Reimbursement Contract

Requested Agenda Item Description: The Salt Lake County RDA has received a request for public assistance to support a multi-family residential development in the Magna Arbor Park CDA. RDA staff contracted with National Development Council to conduct a “but for” analysis on the request and also received a recommendation from the Magna Township Council on whether and how to provide public assistance. RDA staff are seeking guidance from the Board on whether and how to negotiate a developer reimbursement contract.
