Requested Agenda Item Description: The Shooting Range Sand Traps renovation project was designed and bid with all five Ranges included, with vendor/bidder costs coming in well over budget at 1.2million. The project was then re-bid with a reduced scope of work that included three out of the five Ranges. The project was re-bid with a base bid [Range No.1] and two alternates [Range No.2 and Range No.3] bids received came in much more favorable the second time, and related to the first bids pricing much more competitive, and favorable. The requested Budget Adjustment allows the third Range [Alternate No.3] to be included as part of the project.  Costs/pricing are not expected to be as competitive and afforded next year, if the remaining Ranges would be phased into next year, with costs expected to continue to rise, and with the Ranges critical function, the three most used Ranges would be rebuilt sooner with the most cost savings.
